Dit jaar organiseert kunstpodium Expoplu weer The Big Draw voor Nijmegen, van 8 tot en met 11 september 2016. Tijdens The Big Draw Nijmegen worden er verschillende tekenprogramma’s opgezet in de stad, variërend van workshops tot aan live drawing-sessions en de ramenroute, waar verschillende Nijmeegse ondernemers hun etalage-ramen beschikbaar stellen aan kunstenaars om deze te illustreren. Ook dit jaar mag ik meedoen aan de ramenroute, waar ik ontwerpen voor de etalages van de Penshop Nijmegen, Podium Nijmegen, Cappello en Stichting de Bastei heb mogen maken. Recently I’ve had the honor to work on two exclusive designs for Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, who’s debut album “Broken Lines” will be released on September 23. Their album can be pre-ordered now, together with a selection of limited edition bundles that will make your ears and eyes love you. The designs were inspired by two song titles, “Fragments and Ashes” and “Thieves and Whores”, that pushed myself out of my comfort zone in the best possible way. Hoi allemaal! In de afgelopen maanden heb ik de kans gekregen om aan verschillende opdrachten te werken, met als hoogtepunt: portretten! Het is geweldig om deel uit te mogen maken van deze persoonlijke verhalen, om vervolgens mijn persoonlijke creatieve interpretatie met de opdrachtgevers te delen. Ik kan niet wachten om een aantal van deze portretten te delen! Maar voordat ik dit doe wil ik iedereen die mij een opdracht heeft aangeboden bedanken voor hun steun en vertrouwen.
